Results of Henkel Hungary in 2010
Henkel Hungary has closed 2010 with a revenue of HUF 82.9 billion, down from HUF 83.9 billion in 2009, managing director Dieter Knoll said.
According to the director, domestic sales fell to HUF 42.5 billion in 2010 from HUF 44.3 billion in 2009 and accounted for more than 51% of revenue. Exports rose to HUF 40.4 billion from HUF 39.6 billion.
Henkel HUngary spent almost HUF 1.1 billion on investments in 2010, mainly at its production units. It spent HUF 375 million on developments at its plant in Kőrösladány and it started construction of a €14.7 million glue plant in Tatabánya. The average headcount was 548 in 2010, but the number is expected to rise to 600 when the new unit opens in Tatabánya.
