The annual output of the Hangya Cooperative is around 300-350 billion HUF
The annual output of the members of the Hangya Cooperative (Hangya Szövetkezeti Együttműködés) is around 300-350 billion HUF – Patay Vilmos, co-chairman of the cooperation said in Budapest at a press conference on Friday.
He said that the organization has more than 200 co-producer members, so more than 20 thousand producers are participating. They are mainly working together in cereal, vine-, wine, poultry and pig cooperatives.
He added that in Hungary about 500 cooperatives are operating. The annual output of agriculture is around 2,300 billion HUF, of which about 700 billion HUF is the part of the producer collaborations. (MTI)
