30 percent increase in toy sales due to Children’s Day
Due to Children’s Day, the Regio Játékkereskedelmi Kft. is experiencing a roughly 30 percent increase in turnover in the last two weeks of May, compared to an average week in May, the company told MTI based on its own data.
Hungarian parents and grandparents buy online for an average of 11,800 HUF and buy gifts in the stores for 7,600 HUF, which is 34 percent and 5 percent more than last year, Gyaraki Dávid, marketing manager, described the sales data in the announcement.
According to the research, 46 percent of respondents shop both online and in-store, and a quarter get their supplies online only. (MTI)
