Diageo sells Pampero Rum to Gruppo Montenegro
Italian spirits and food company Gruppo Montenegro has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Pampero rum from Diageo. Pampero is one of the leading Venezuelan rum brands with an 85-year history, and is known as the first rum aged for more than two years. It is the number one in Italian rum sales and has a strong market presence throughout Europe.
