Donations collected at the running festival help the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service
Due to the pandemic, the 35th SPAR Budapest Marathon® Festival took place with unprecedented safety measures. Participants were able to receive their start number after a pre-filled COVID-19 statement and body temperature measurement. They were obliged to enter the start zones with a mouth mask, which everyone had to wear until the start, and then they had to put them on again at the finish. On the route of the competition, the arrangement of refreshment stations and the recording of refreshments also took place non-contact, the organizers placed hand sanitizers at several points.
