The OKSZ opposes to expand the product range in the tobacco shops but supports the increase of price margins
The National Retail Federation (OKSZ) supports the 10 percent increase of price margins in case of tobacco products but opposes the extension of the range of products which can be sold at tobacco shops – the organization announced on Monday, in connection with the amendment submitted last week.
The National Retail Federation (OKSZ) notices that the association has already initiated the the regulation of price margin rules. They have considered it unacceptable that the retail price does not contain the costs of tobacco sellers. Currently, the margin is between 3-5 percent, as the retail price is determined by the manufacturer and presses it down. The 10 percent proposal is identical to the previous proposal of the OKSZ – the organization highlighted. (MTI)
