The diabetic labeling often caused excessive consumption
Due to the diabetic labeling, many people thought that they can eat as much as they can, although these products often have the same energy content – Antal Emese dietitian told M1 news channel on Monday.
She explained that excessive energy intake, improper lifestyle and overweight increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The number of overweight increased among the adult population from the previous 50-55 percent to 65 percent. As a result, the number of people with diabetes also increased significantly in Hungary.
