BusinessEurope is holding its summit in Budapest
The European Employers’ Association, BusinessEurope, will hold the Council of Presidents meeting in Budapest on June 27-28 – the National Association of Employers and Manufacturers (MGYOSZ) informed MTI on Monday.
Organized and hosted by MGYOSZ, the meeting will be attended by the heads of almost half a hundred European employer organizations, Europe’s largest and most influential economic players, typically the leaders of the continent’s most important companies.
BusinessEurope’s members are national employers’ associations, the organization represents the interests of companies operating in the European Union, and negotiates with the European Commission on topics affecting the economy and companies as a European social partner based on its rights laid down in the EU Treaty. BusinessEurope’s tasks include providing opinions and supporting the EU legislative mechanism.
