Baileys has obtained one of the most important international sustainability recognitions, the B Corp certificate
Diageo-owned cream liqueur Baileys has become the largest spirit brand to achieve B Corp certification.
The accreditation is awarded to companies that meet particular standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency spanning areas including employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices and input materials, to name a few. Companies are assessed across categories such as customers, governance, workers, environment and community.
Jennifer English, global brand director for Baileys, said: “As the largest global spirits brand to join the B Corp movement, we are looking forward to working with the B Corp communities across global markets and ensuring that we are using the scale of our business to deliver positive impact.
“While this is an important milestone for Baileys, we know that there is more we can do. We are already looking forward to the delivery of more initiatives as we journey towards our 2030 commitments.”
