SPAR is preparing for the holidays with 800 tons of hot dogs and budget-friendly solutions
Compared to other periods of the year, SPAR expects a 15-30 percent higher turnover before Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and is waiting for customers with budget-friendly holiday offers. The company is preparing for the last period of the year with nearly 800 tons of hot dogs and 40 tons of fish products, but customers will also be able to choose from more than 150 types of Christmas sweets on the store shelves.
“The period of waiting for the holidays at the end of the year always plays a special role in the life of our stores, as we strive to ensure that our customers can find all the products they need for gift-giving, preparations, family and friend gatherings, and intimate holiday lunches and dinners. In our own way, we want to reduce the stress of getting ready and make holiday shopping a relaxed experience. In this way, we are thoroughly prepared to be able to serve our customers at a high level in each product area. We welcome customers with our wallet-friendly solutions, attractive products in terms of price-value ratio, as well as more special holiday or special food items. Of course, we also thought of those who want to save time by buying convenience foods so that they can spend more time with their family members and friends during this period. Our stores are dressed up in holiday decorations to make the Christmas and New Year atmosphere even more complete. At this time of the year, products such as fish, hot dogs, parlor sugars and alcoholic beverages that evoke the atmosphere of winter play a prominent role.”
– said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary. According to him, during the Advent period, they expect a different, but on average, 15-30 percent higher turnover than at other times of the year.
