PepsiCo Marks 50 Years In Ireland With ‘50for50’ Campaign
PepsiCo is celebrating 50 years in Ireland with is ‘50for50’ campaign, which will see employees support their local community with 50 good deeds during the year.
The drinks and snacks company first established its Irish headquarters in Little Island Cork in 1974. Ever since, it has remained dedicated to making a positive difference in the community.
Throughout the year, employees at PepsiCo’s Little Island site will engage in community and fundraising events. They will volunteer their time to support charitable causes and sustainability initiatives.
The goal of the ‘50for50’ initiative is to spread positivity, build closer connections and support the needs of the community.
One organisation PepsiCo is supporting is the Crann Centre, which hosted the launch for the campaign with a tree planting ceremony. The organisation provides life-changing solutions for individuals and families living with neuro-physical disabilities.
Since opening in 2018, the centre has helped over 500 clients and families through its Model of Care.
The ceremony coincided with Ireland’s National Tree Week.
