40 secure jobs, sustainable solutions – new BURGER KING® in Csepel
The newest restaurant of BURGER KING® has opened on the outskirts of Csepel Plaza, owned by Indotek Group, which simultaneously strengthens the district’s economy, renews neighboring public spaces, and offers the brand’s iconic, fire-grilled burgers and the well-known WHOPPER® experience in a modern, sustainable environment.
The restaurant is based on BURGER KING®’s latest “Pavilion” design concept, which combines a clean look, efficient operation and sustainability.
The 115 square meter guest space offers 70 indoor seats and a 56-seat terrace. Quick ordering is facilitated by the BURGER KING® app and self-service KIOSKs, while the double drive-thru lane provides convenient service for those arriving by car.
The new restaurant operates with zero harmful emissions, operates with a fully electric heating and cooling system, and has received an “A” energy rating thanks to its heat recovery ventilation. The green roof and facade green wall will later improve air quality, while naturally helping to cool the interior during the summer.
The new BURGER KING® restaurant employs nearly 40 people, and the employees are almost all residents of the 21st district.
