The Beer Institute has lobbied the US government to the tune of US$310,000 in H1, according to a disclosure form.

In a form filed with the Senate's office of public records,
the trade group spent the funds lobbying bills to fight underage
drinking and legislation affecting advertising and marketing. The Washington
DC-based group includes companies such as Anheuser-Busch, Coors Brewing Co. and
Miller_Brewing Co. as members.
Since 1995, under federal law, lobbyists are required to
disclose activities that could influence members of the executive and
legislative branches and report the financial sum of any lobbying during the
first six months of each year.
