Szintézis is 25 years old: from DOS to cloud storage

Győr-based Szintézis Information Technology Zrt. was founded 25 years ago and its profile includes retail systems, outsourcing and system integration. 20 years ago they established Szintézis Romania – the company operates 21 service points in the country – and 14 years ago Szintézis Slovakia was also started. Currently the Szintézis group is made up of nine companies, having local service units in Budapest, Salgótarján, Dombóvár, Szeged and Szombathely, plus commercial and programming units. Szintézis works with more than 16 supplier partners and among its customers we can find Hungarian and international firms, food and non-food retail chains, schools and municipalities. Their partners like the third-generation, user-friendly, Windows-based graphic surface used with complex Szintézis systems. Head of company Dávid Szabó hopes that soon their Pricer displays, self-service checkouts, RFID and NFC solutions will be widely used. In the domain of system integration they also provide outsourcing services. With funding from the Széchenyi Plan, Szintézis invested HUF 300 million in its SAAS cloud centre, launched in July 2012. The company’s work has been honoured with many prizes, both in Hungary (founder István Szabó was ‘Entrepreneur of the year’ in 1989 and 2004) and abroad – Fujitsu, HP , IBM, Infor and Pricer all rewarded Szintézis for its work. To celebrate the last 25 years, Szintézis prepares with many surprises for partners.
