HoReCa Heroes in 2025
On 22 September, the first day of the Business Days conference in Tapolca, the HoReCa Heroes awards were presented for the fourth time to crisis-resistant players in the sector.

The award scheme was established in 2021 by the HoReCa and Event Chapter of the Hungarian Marketing Association (MMSZ) and Trade magazine. They were looking for businesses that managed to save what could be saved during the Covid pandemic. Winners are announced in every two years and the judging is done by members of the HoReCa and Event Chapter.
The Menteshelyek.hu Special Award was presented for the first time and the winner was restaurant Sulyom Tájétterem, with its To Eat or Not to Eat entry. “Now that due to economic difficulties we are in a a period full of new challenges for players in the HoReCa sector, it is worth collecting positive examples”, pointed out Krisztina Bódi, the head of MMSZ’s HoReCa and Event Chapter. Zsuzsanna Hermann, organiser of the Business Days conference and CEO and editor-in-chief of Trade magazin added: “It is a real celebration for us when we can welcome the HoReCa Heroes every two years and congratulate them on their ideas”.

Confectionery category: Gyógynövény ice cream parlour, BZB Rent Kft., Barbara Bóza managing director

Buffet category: Vincotech buffet, VM Gasztro Kft., Roland Váradi chief chef and Vincotech Hungária Kft. Dániel Görözdi managing director

Bistro category: Chef Beach Kft., Tibor Czigléczky chef the cuisine

Café category: Tejmadár, Anita Jakus marketing manager

Menteshelyek special prize winner: Sulyom restaurant, Gyula Kücsön owner
