By 2020 all L’Oreal products would be made from renewable raw materials
As one of the leaders in the cosmetics and beauty industry, L’Oréal’s new sustainability program has determined that by 2020 all of the company’s products will be made from renewable raw materials – origo wrote.
The French company uses raw materials to achieve this goal, which come from sustainable sources or so-called green chemistry processes.
In the latter procedure, such molecules are created which have a minimal environmental impact.
Another advantage of this process is that the processing of raw materials requires little energy, thus avoiding the generation of waste. (origo)
