Tesco offers free home delivery for 2 weeks
Between February 15 and 29, Tesco offers free delivery for orders placed through the Tesco Otthon interface. The supermarket chain’s promotion also applies to products delivered to your home and picked up in person. In addition to the offer of Clubcard and bomb price and price guarantee products, Tesco highlighted in its announcement that with this promotion it also wants to help customers optimize costs, providing the largest coverage among food retail chains in the country.
The Tesco Home service celebrated its 10th birthday last year. The option of online ordering and home delivery is now available to 2.7 million homes in more than 870 settlements. Tesco now offers them free delivery for two weeks for basket values over HUF 10,000, and charges a fee of only HUF 750 for orders with a lower order value. The promotion applies to orders placed and delivered between February 15 and 29, 2024.
Tesco employees take the products purchased online at hypermarket prices from the stores that prepare the order items to the doorsteps of the homes in the selected time interval of up to one hour. However, if someone does not want to order at home, they can request the prepared package at one of the Pickup Points, even outside the delivery area.
If you happen to get it on the last day of February and don’t want to miss out on free home delivery, you can still take advantage of the offer with Same Day Delivery. In this case, in the case of an order placed before 9 a.m., delivery can be requested for the earliest available time slots available from 2 p.m., while for purchases sent before 1 p.m., the earliest available time slots can be between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
