2+2 instead of 11+10
On 15 February a new register of trades entered into force. This document lists 174 vocations in 25 sectors. There are 3 vocations named for retail trade: shop assistant (3 years of study, but only 2 with a GSCE), retailer and online store technician (5 years of study that involves a GSCE too, 2 years if you already have a GSCE); plus a foreign language speaking industry and retail trade technician, with three specialisation directions (5 years of study that involves a GSCE too, 2 years if you already have a GSCE). From these 3 only the first 2 are trading area positions. In the new National Qualifications Register (OKJ) the following 2 jobs are featured: in-store sorting and cashier. Altogether 11 full retail specialisations are named in the OKJ, plus 10 partial ones. //
