100 million, 15 years, 250,000 Széchenyi Cards
The 250,000th Széchenyi Card was handed over ceremonially today, as well as the card for the first 100 Million Széchenyi Card claim in the 15th jubilee year of the KAVOSZ Zrt. and the program.
In 2000, Demján Sándor proposed to Prime Minister Orbán Viktor (with the support of the then Minister of Economic Affairs, Matolcsy György), the introduction of a state-subsidized concessional conditional opportunity.
The Government has advocated a novel solution for the financing of small businesses and announced the Széchenyi Card Program. At the same time, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) and the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ) were invited to implement the Program, and established KAVOSZ Zrt. for the operation and coordination of the Program.
