1,400 grey and black poplar trees planted by Diageo
Diageo, a global company with 1,400 employees in Hungary and a premium alcoholic beverage manufacturer and distributor, has planted 1,400 grey and black poplar trees in nógrád county, in cooperation with the Forest Rescue Foundation, in the Danube-Ipoly National Park. The planting of 1,400 saplings, which took place near the Páskom pasture trail near Dejtár, was carried out jointly by Diageo and the Forest Rescue Foundation. Tree planting was initiated by the Helping Hands, which is a volunteer within the company, and by the Green IQ community, which is active in environmental matters.
