We continue to stand up to the tax exemption for home-made pálinka
Hungary still does not support the taxation of home-made pálinka cooking, and at every forum stands for the European Union to allow tax exemption for the production of fruit distillate for own purposes – Varga Mihály emphasized following the meeting of the EU finance ministers in Brussels (Ecofin).
Most Member States agree that, with quantitative restrictions, the production of pálinka at home should be exempted from tax – penzcentrum.hu wrote.
In 2015, Hungary fought for the very low-priced rules, and at the moment, it is possible to cook pálinka at home with the payment of a minimum public fee. (penzcentrum.hu)
