Strategy to increase the prestige of the wine of Somogy county
The strategy that intends to increase the prestige of the wine of Somogy county – especially in the Balatonboglár wine region – will be completed for the summer.
The wine makers, the representatives of the relevant professional bodies and politicians held their first meeting in Kaposvár on Wednesday on the topic.
Gombos Sándor, Somogy county chairman of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) at the press conference following the meeting said that 70-75 percent of the Balatonboglár wine grapes are not processed locally, but are sold elsewhere so the added value will occurs elsewhere. (MTI)
