Soy production should be encouraged in the future as annual crop yields do not cover the country’s protein demand – Gyuricza Csaba, Director-General of the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center (NAIK) told M1 news channel.
He adds that 60 000 hectares of soy are being produced in Hungary, and through various soy production promotion, the government hopes that 300-350 thousand tons of soy will be produced on at least 100,000 hectares. (MTI)
