MLBKT: the purchasing manager index increased in December
The seasonally adjusted December value of the Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) was 54.2 points after the 53.5 points in November.
According to the survey, the respondents reported on more favorable processes compared to the previous month – the Hungarian Logistics, Procurement and Inventory Society (MLBKT) told MTI.
Compared to the previous Decembers, this year’s value exceeds the long-term December average (52.5) measured since 1995 and the average of the last three years, which was 54.1 points. (MTI)
