MKB Bank: agriculture financing should be tailored to the needs of customers
At the end of last year, the loan portfolio of Hungarian agriculture was about 560 billion HUF on the basis of the data collection of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Including individual and joint ventures, MKB Bank’s share of the loan portfolio was between 8 and 10 percent – the MKB Bank told MTI. The bank added that agricultural lending business branch has to be improved, considering the growing need for the funding in the agricultural sector, taking into account the special needs as well.
