Foreign trade surplus was 577 million euros in May
In May, the value of exports in euro was practically unchanged in annual terms, imports increased by 2.9 percent and foreign trade surplus decreased by 245 million euros to 577 million euros (185 billion forints) – according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Tuesday.
Turnover fluctuations were affected by the fact that in May 2018 there was a workday less than a year before. Exports amounted to 9.1 billion euros (2857 billion forints), while imports amounted to 8.5 billion euros (2673 billion forints). (MTI)
