KSH: Cigarette, alcohol and food prices have risen the most
In January, consumer prices were 2.1 percent higher than in the previous year and were 0.3 percent higher than in December – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In the first month of the year the prices of spirits, tobacco and food products increased with the greatest extent, compared to the same period of last year.
Mináry Borbála, Head of Department of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a statement that despite the decline in VAT, hospitality increased by 0.6 percent in January, compared to the previous month. (MTI)
