APEH ‘s (Hungarian Tax and Financial Control Administration) requirements and regulations on the licensing o cash register system are one of the strictest in the world. Therefore it is very important to choose the right company for installing such systems. Szintézis Informatikai Zrt. has been developing, selling and licensing trading and cash register systems for retailers and wholesalers since 1987. One year ago Fressnapf (present in Hungary since 2002 with 30 stores) decided to commission Szintézis Zrt. with naturalising their cash register system.

The project started in 2009 and the new system debuted on 24 March 2010, receiving the green light from APEH. It only took 3 weeks to replace the former system in shops with the new one. The new Linux-operated system uses Posiflex touchscreen cash registers with Bixolon printers, which are equipped with a new fiscal unit called Black CAT. Presently the system is used with 57 cash registers in 30 shops, and is supported by Szintézis Zrt.
