The number of employed people in the EU and in the euro area broke a record again
The number of employees in the European Union and the euro area rose to a new record in April-June for the second consecutive quarter.
According to a report released on Wednesday by the EU’s Statistical Office (Eurostat), 235.4 million employers were working in the European Union in the second quarter, of which 155.6 million in the euro area, where there have never been so many workers ever. The record of all time has been broken in the EU and in the euro area as well. (MTI)
