FM Minister of State: The objective of the Pick It Up! action is to strengthen environmental protection
The largest volunteer action in Hungary, the Pick It Up! 2017 Waste Collection Campaign will be organized this year again to strengthen environmental protection – V. Németh Zsolt, Minister of State,responsible for Environment, Agriculture and Hungarian Affairs, told M1 news channel on Thursday.
The Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) added that the program will take place in September. One can register from Wednesday on the www.teszedd.hu website.
The Minister of State recalled that last year, 190,000 volunteers came to the action, gathering 2857 tonnes of waste at 2240 points of the country. (MTI)
