More lenient rules on GMO feed
The Ministry of Agriculture would change the regulations relating to the labeling of food containing no genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
The proposal is under public consultation. The most significant amendment appears to be that the government’s definition of GMO-free feed used in production to be changed. In the future the regulation will be adjusted to the EU’s – more permissive – controls. (vg.hu)
