From 2025, cage-keeping eggs will not be available in Tesco
Tesco sold nearly 114 million eggs in Hungary in 2018. There are also several sizes and types in the range, of which nearly 90 percent come from a Hungarian producer.
Not only the place of origin of the eggs is important for Tesco, but also the conditions under which the eggs come from. The supermarket chain undertook to sell eggs only from free, ecological and other alternative breeding and keeping from 2025 in Central Europe, including Hungary.
