Advertising market decreased last year
According to the most recent datas of TNS Media Intelligence; Calculated on list price, Hungarian advertising market decreased by 7.4 percent in 2009. Statistics show, that the advertisers spent 44 billion less on advertising, compared to a year earlier.
Advertisers spent roughly 11 billion HUF less for cable TV adverts, 6 billion less for radio and 2.7 billion HUF less forpublic space advertising.
The evolution of the monthly advertising spendings reached the bottom level in August. List price spendings in August were 15 percent below the 2008 level. Beside January and February the summer months are traditionally the weakest months in the advertising market, but this has been an especially weak August – reports Világgazdaság Online.
