Vegetable production in soil-free system
A covered farm was set up in the US without soil, that can serve as an example that crops can be produced economically even in cities – agrarszektor.hu wrote. According to the plans, the first step would be to produce organically manufactured vegetables and spices.
A farm will be built in the US state of New Jersey, where the crops willl be grown in a soil-free system. The company named Aerofarm implements the investment at a former industrial site on about 69 thousand square meters. The investment is scheduled to be finished in the second half of the year.
