Green packaging
Indepack Kft. has asked more than 10,000 hospitality partners about their packaging use, in the form of a questionnaire survey. It was revealed that the proportion of biodegradable/compostable packaging continues to grow. 2022 is the first year when there are more eateries using both traditional plastic and biodegradable packaging (38%) than restaurants packaging food in single-use plastic only (33%). 60% of respondents would like to do something for the environment by using green packaging. 70% don’t plan the introduction of reusable, deposit return food packaging. //
