FUN – Former Unilever Network

On 20 November, the meeting with the above name was held for the 2nd time on Margaret Island. This time it was a bit different, because several colleagues who are still with Unilever also participated – including the members of the board of directors. Many participants arrived already before the time of registration to meet former colleagues. It really was like a school reunion. The motto was ‘international career’ and it really can be said about most of the 90 participants and 150 registered FUN members that they have a career, they are successful in life. What can they thank Unilever for? A lot. We learned to work in teams there, to accommodate to other work styles and to think out-of-the-box. Those who were able to mix Hungarian talent with well-proven international methods could become successful. This evening gave us a chance to recharge our batteries with each other’s experiences and look forward to 2010 with hope in our hearts.
