Save water for a cleaner household
Unless otherwise, the World Water Day will remind us of the Earth’s basic resource we use every day, and humanity would not be without it. An average Hungarian consumes nearly 310 glasses of water a day, according to data from previous years. Water management is particularly important for a household as it is used for housework and plays a key role in cleanliness. MediaMarkt has collected tips to help you reduce your water consumption.
According to the latest KSH report, the annual water consumption per capita in 2016 was 34 m3. This is 34,000 liters, which is approx. 113 thousand glasses of water (based on 3 dl glasses) for one person per year. The proportion of homes connected to a drinking water network in the country was 95 percent in 2016, which means that most people use this water every day.
