The passengers of Wizz Air encountered a similar problem, as they did not get there in time for the football match against Switzerland due to the delay of the flight to Dortmund.

The government office’s investigation is aimed at whether the affected airlines have fully complied with the EU legislation on informing passengers and providing them with the assistance they are entitled to. If a violation of the law is suspected during the investigation, the office will initiate the necessary procedures against the airlines concerned.
