The GVH examines the beverage purchases of restaurants
The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) is subjecting beverage purchases of catering establishments to an investigation based on mandatory data provision, the GVH informed MTI.
The control covers both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. According to the announcement, the GVH explores the framework and conditions of business relations between suppliers and caterers, the characteristics and business practices of beverage distribution, as well as their impact on prices and consumer welfare.
