Succesful Pick and Herz promotion at the Budapest Airport
The slightly odd metaphor in the title is entirely appropriate: the triple (Airport – duty free – producer) hungaricum-promotion ran in full throttle in the transit of the Budapest Airport 2 terminal in recent months, that doubled the sales. Moreover, by this time, the manufacturer intended that the promotion not to be accompanied by the usual 30 percent discount.
During the month-long promotion, gigantic custom-designed graphics advertised the Hungarian slamis of Pick and Herz. Every day, between 10 and 19 hours at a 12 m² stand inside the center of the SkyCourt hostesses offered the well-known gourmet salamis of Pick and Herz as well as the new mangalica products, ie. the salamis and sausages.
