2024 was a really good year for fruit growers in the Great Plain and according to Miklós Farkas, master distiller of Schiszler, their work was not hampered by quantity problems in the region.

Thus, last year Schiszler’s Irsai Olivér, pear and plum pálinkas won awards within the framework of the pálinka excellence programme. Sales data from Schiszler indicate that consumers have returned to these classic flavours in the past two years. //
