Retail sales declined in the Czech Republic
Retail sales in the Czech Republic fell 0.2 percent in October year-on-year. The monthly decline was 1.9 percent, the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague.
Turnover in manufactured goods fell, while more food was sold than before. This is largely a consequence of government action against the spread of the coronavirus, as a significant proportion of non-food outlets were closed in October. (MTI)
