VIMOSZ: The Széchenyi Rest Cards must be protected
The introduction of the Széchenyi Rest Cards put domestic tourism onto a growth path: the accommodation owners and the hosts reached significant additional revenues, and the system has contributed significantly to the whitening of the industry.
The VIMOSZ (Tourism and Catering Employers Association) is concerned about the projected growth of public burdens on the fringe benefits, especially on the Széchenyi Rest Card in 2015.
According to the 2015 draft on the tax and social security laws the EHO (Health Contribution) rate would increase from 14 percent to 27 percent.
The association proposes not to change the regulation on the Széchenyi Rest Cards for 2015.
