Rapeseed prices fell worldwide and domestically

According to Expana, the spot export price of canola in Australia fell by $22 to $526/tonne between November 14, 2025 and January 16, 2026. In Ukraine, the spot market price of rapeseed delivered to the western border was $535/tonne (-$5). Indian rapeseed was traded at a price level of $799/tonne (-$24) at the same time.

According to the European Commission, rapeseed in France (FOB Moselle) rose from $535/tonne to $582/tonne between January 1 and February 11. The Ukrainian crop was available for $535-555/tonne at the same time. At the same time, Canadian oilseeds were traded for 465–522 dollars/ton, and Australian for 500–548 dollars/ton (FOB). According to AKI PÁIR data, the producer price of rapeseed, excluding VAT and transport costs, was 183.7 thousand forints/ton in the first week of February. This price level was 13 percent lower than a year earlier. On the Paris Commodity Exchange (Euronext/MATIF), the May exchange settlement price of rapeseed was in the range of 474–489 euros/ton between February 2 and 13.
