Agárdi Pálinkafőzde and its chief distiller world champions

Agárdi Pálinkafőzde became world champion at the Destillata 2009 competition held in Vienna. The distillery won the title „Distillery of the Year’, while several of its products won “Palinka of the Year” titles, with the chief distiller, Tibor Veres winning the title of “Distiller of the Year”. Destillata 2009 which celebrated its 18th birthday this year, is the biggest international competition held for spirits, with 190 participants from 13 countries.
