Vietnamese rain makes the coffee more expensive
Coffee prices rose to their almost seven-week peak in London, after the traders worry that the rainy weather in Vietnam may cause difficulties in recharging the stocks – reports Bloomberg news agency.
The meter/ton price of the robusta coffee increased to over 2,000 USD on Friday, due to the continuous rise in prices and cocoa become more expensive as well. Vietnam is thelargest coffee-producer in the region and major rainfalls are forecasted for thenext ten days by meteorologists.
