More cheerful and attractive new design for Tesco Value products

Tesco’s first-price private label product range, Tesco Value has been revamped. The first such products appeared in Hungary 15 years ago and since than consumer habits have changed, so the brand and the product selection needed an overhaul. As the first step, in the autumn of 2013 the quality, composition, packaging unit and market position of all Value products were checked. Only 11 products’ composition had to be changed and some of them return in new packaging units. All Value products got a fresh and cheerful new packaging. There are 320 products in the Tesco Value line in Hungary, but the overhaul was carried out in all four Tesco countries in Central Europe, so altogether 536 products were affected. Shoppers tested each and every product in the Tesco Value range before they returned to stores renewed. Tesco offers 100-percent money-back guarantee for all of its private label products.
