A leading household appliance brand is heading to the Hungarian market
The world’s leading large household appliance brand, Haier, is also appearing on the Hungarian market. The products of the Chinese parent company are already distributed in 21 European countries, and they want to be among the top 3 brands in Hungary within three years, the company told MTI on Friday.
According to the announcement, their portfolio of more than 50 devices will be available in Hungary as of April 15. Candy Hoover Hungary Kft. performs the official distributor duties.
The importance of entering the Hungarian market is shown by the fact that there has been no precedent for a brand launch similar to Haier in the large household appliance segment for quite some time – they wrote.
Managing Director Márton Rózsa told MTI: Candy Hoover Hungary Kft. expects a more modest, but on the order of magnitude, sales revenue of several hundred million forints from the distribution of Haier products in the first year, the exact figure is classified as a trade secret.
