Buoyed by the success of the NAK Arable Days and Agricultural Machinery Show-Mezőfalva exhibition, which has become a tradition in recent years, the National Chamber of Agriculture – in cooperation with the National Association of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Dealers (MEGFOSZ) – is organizing a Sowing Day within the framework of the exhibition this year. The one-day theoretical and practical sowing technology demonstration will take place on March 27th in Mezőfalva.

As a prelude to the NAK Arable Days and Agricultural Machinery Show-Mezőfalva exhibition in June, the National Chamber of Agriculture is organizing a one-day theoretical and practical sowing technology demonstration in cooperation with the National Association of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Dealers (MEGFOSZ).

The Sowing Day will be held on March 27, 2026 in Mezőfalva

The aim of the event is to present and compare traditional tillage methods, as well as the tool systems and effectiveness of strip-till, min-till and no-till technologies under the same conditions in the light of climate change and economic challenges. Depending on the working width and technical characteristics of the presented seeders, separate strips are created in the prepared area – for example, stubble, an area covered with ground cover plants, loosened or disced soil. Following the practical demonstration, roundtable discussions will also take place, where government and professional actors, as well as practical experts, will share their experiences. The largest professional arable field event in Hungary, the NAK Szántóföldi Napok és AgrárgépShow, is visited by thousands of farmers every year. We expect a similar turnout this time, as the practical and theoretical seeding demonstration, which responds to the challenges of climate change and the economic situation, is of significant professional interest.
