The Free Trade Agreement may potentially jeopardize European agriculture
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) can have a major impact on farming and food production in the European Union – the Friends of the Earth Europe and the Hungarian Society of Conservationists state in their report.
According to the statement of the two organizations sent to MTI on Thursday, due to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), imports from the United States will increase further to a large extent, while the profit of the European Union’s producers will be reduced. (MTI)
